iOS7 Multitasking – eBuddy XMS

iOS7 has brought some nice new features and possibilities to the table and we, as conscious developers, always want to squeeze the most out of them to pursuit delivering a better experience for our users.

In this post I’ll be talking about the new Multitasking feature (I’m not really convinced that the multitask term is being used properly, but let’s stick with it). I won’t be getting in depth on how to implement it, since there are plenty of good sources about that already.

Instead, I’ll try to cover the specifics we had to deal with when implementing the feature on the eBuddy XMS App, an IM client (to keep it short) with a network architecture that wasn’t designed to be integrated with the “content-available” concept.
